A post-doctoral position is available in the « nuclear receptors, cardiovascular diseases and diabetes” laboratory, team 1 (Nuclear receptor and metabolic disease).
The successful applicant will be involved in the development of metabolic disorders in mouse models (obesity, insulin-resistance, T2D, NASH/NAFLD…). That will include the characterization of the metabolic phenotype, the determination of the underlying molecular mechanisms, as well as the analyses of the effects of pharmacological compounds, with a particular focus on inter-organ communication including the gut liver axis.
Preference will be given to a highly motivated, enthusiastic candidate with a good publication track record. Skills including creativity, good oral and written communication and ability to work in a collaborative project are required. Applicants must hold a PhD in biology/biochemistry or relevant science discipline. The habilitation for animal experiment is a necessary prerequisite. Abroad experience (PhD or post-doc) will be appreciated.
